Pricing (Review Scraper API)

Billing methods

The Review Scraper API has two types of billing to offer maximum flexibility based on your use case:

1. Pay-as-you-go pricing

This is based on credits that do not expire.

2. Monthly subscription

You can subscribe to a plan and receive continuous monthly credits at a lower price than pay-as-you-go pricing.

We do not offer a free tier, though we can refund your payment within your first 30 days if you are unhappy with the service

Our pricing is as shown below - feel free to contact us for volume pricing if you are doing more than 10k review profiles per day.

How credits are used

Regardless of which type of billing you choose, you will have credits which are consumed in two ways:

1. Base fee

The base fee applies to any new review profile that you add to the API via the add endpoint. The base fee depends on your package as well as the tier of the review site you are adding.

Pay as you go Hobby Startup Business Enterprise
Tier 1 10 credits 10 credits 10 credits 10 credits 10 credits
Tier 2 10 credits 8 credits 6 credits 5 credits 4 credits

2. Scraped reviews

One credit is deducted for every scraped review.

Pro tip: Use the  from_date or blocks parameters  to limit the number of reviews that are scraped (and thus your bill), based on what you need

Example

Let's use a Facebook profile (which is Tier 1) as an example:

  1. You add the profile today and it has 10 reviews: you will be charged 20 credits for that job (10 base fee + 10 for reviews)
  2. If you add that same profile tomorrow and it has 0 new reviews: you will be charged 10 credits for that job (10 base fee + 0 for reviews)
  3. If you add that same profile in 2 months and it has 0 new reviews: you will be charged 10 credits for that job  (10 base fee + 0 for reviews)

If the review profile is a Tier 2 site, please see the table above and calculate your base fee accordingly. In the case that you are syncing reviews for a business location, remember that a given location can have n profiles, such as those from Google, Facebook, Yelp and more.
