Frequently Asked Questions

In this article, you will find answers to frequently asked questions about our newly launched solution, the Datashake Hub.

  • Can I change a one-time job to a recurring or scheduled job?
    • Once you've created a job, its type, whether one-time, scheduled, or recurring, cannot be changed. For instance, if you've set up a one-time job, it cannot be converted to a recurring or scheduled job later on.

  • Can I switch my scheduled or recurring job to a one-time job?
    • Similar to the one above, jobs cannot be switched from scheduled or recurring to a one-time job. If you need to make such a change, the only solution is to delete the existing job and create a new one with your preferred schedule.

  • Can I update the job's schedule frequency?
    • Yes, you can update the schedule frequency of the job. However, it comes with a limitation. You can only make this update once. So plan your schedule changes carefully to ensure they meet your long-term needs.

  • What should I do if I encounter an error when deleting a job?
    • If you receive an error while trying to delete a job, it usually means the job is still running or pending for processing. Make sure the job is in a completed, scheduled, or failed status before attempting to delete it again.

  • Why is my job status "Draft"?
    • If your job status is marked as "Draft," it means the job creation process was not completed. To initiate your job, make sure you keep clicking the "Continue" button until you see the profile or location collection message. This indicates that all necessary steps have been completed.

  • Why is my exported CSV file empty?
    • When using the Hub to gather your review data, you might occasionally receive an empty CSV file. This can happen due to several reasons such as:
      • Invalid URL input - If the search criteria include a URL that is not supported by our system, the API will mark the request as invalid, resulting in an empty CSV file upon export.
      • No reviews available - Even if the search criteria include a supported URL, the Hub might still return an empty CSV file if no reviews are available for that URL, causing the CSV export to be empty.
